Morag Liebert was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and studied for an M.A. (Ordinary) in Biblical Studies and Moral Philosophy with Nursing Studies and later for a M.Sc. in Nursing Education at the University of Edinburgh. In her career in the nursing profession she worked as a Health Visitor (Public Health Nurse) and for a number of years taught community care and health subjects in the South Lothian College of Nursing and Midwifery in Edinburgh. From 1994 to 2009 she was active in the UK campaign for the ordination of women to the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church and since 2001 she has worked as a volunteer with abused women. When she retired she returned to the University of Edinburgh to study for a B.D. with Honours in Divinity. She offers a monthly house Mass and once or twice a year she teaches a short course of Bible Study from a feminist standpoint. She may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
